Association membership is open to everyone interested in the welfare of the Shawnee Twin Lakes. All residents of Shawnee, and those who live on or around the lake are encouraged to join. The objectives of the association, which was formed in September 2005, are to:       - Promote and protect the lake       - Represent interests of members to Shawnee City Officials       - Improve security around the lakes       - Meet neighbors       - Share Information       - Provide education on lake related topics
